Fine Swine Cook-Off and Artisanal Foodfest

May 20, 2012 from 2PM - 8PM

A cook-off like no other.  Local culinary students compete using a whole, Animal Welfare Approved, heritage hog roaster.

Special guest judges include Chef Jason Dady of Bin555, Tre Trattoria, Two Bros BBQ; Chef David Gilbert of Sustenio; Chef Steve McHugh of Luke SA Riverwalk; Chef Michael Sohocki of Restaurant Gwendolyn and food writer Chris Dunn.

Festivities will include watching the culinary students as they prepare their wonderful tastings, live music, food documentary (Farmeggedon), cooking demos, tastings from local food trucks/vendors (additional food items available for purchase from food trucks), a raffle with the top prize being a whole heritage roaster hog and a pie eating contest (email [email protected] if you are interested in being a contestant in the pie eating contest).

Beer and wine will also be available for purchase with general admission and included with VIP admission.

Come join us for this local celebration of artisanal foods and fun.  Culinary schools will receive a portion of the proceeds as a donation to their culinary programs and the students will win prizes to help start their culinary careers.
